After being prompted by a friend, I finally took the steps to visit Bhutan. Pema arranged a tour package as well as our flights and accomodation in Bhutan. I have been to places where you need to travel a fair bit to see its beauty. Not Bhutan!! The moment you land, the view, landscape and natural environment is stunning. It is one of the most naturally beautiful places I have been to. Our guides were very professional, friendly and extremely accomodating to our demands. We stayed in accommodation that were beyond our expectations and we experienced a good balance of the culture, nature, trekking, cuisine, nightlife and shopping. I will definitely return to Bhutan and highly recommend Wangtuk tours and Trek to anyone wishing to have a hastle free, fun and affordable holiday in Bhutan. Great job Pema and team!!
Bhutan is a spectacular country with clean air, wildflowers, majestic mountains, lush forests, stunning architecture, and hand-painted woodwork on the buildings. The kindest people make it a must-visit destination!Pema organized a perfect package for us, which included trekking, relaxing stone baths, delicious local food haunts, visits to historical sites, heritage homes, and temples. It was a perfect balance of activity and relaxation. We highly recommend using Wangchuk Tours—they go out of their way to ensure a great experience.Highlights included in the photos below…
Wangchuk Tours were recommended to us by close friends who travelled Bhutan with them in 2019. We are so happy we went with their recommendation as we had the most wonderful experience, and can't speak highly enough of the tour.It was very well organized yet Pem and her team (Sonam & Dorjee) were flexible and accommodating, going out of their way to make the trip memorable for us and what we wanted to achieve.A highlight was a change in itinerary to do the Lungchutse hike where we saw gorgeous rhododendrons and spent ages taking photos. Another highlight, and one we won't forget is being invited by Pem's brother, Chen cho, to join him and his friends for a birthday celebration. They were kind and generous with their time, so inquisitive of our culture, and we felt so honoured to be invited. We had such a blast!We went to Bhutan thinking the Tiger's Nest trek would be the pinnacle of our experience, but spending time with Pem, her team and her family made our whole trip the perfect holiday. Highly highly recommend.Ps. Thank you Pem for recommending the hot stone bath that Bhutan is famous for. It gave us fresh legs after a long climb up to the Tiger's Nest.
Our family had a 7-day trip in Bhutan in March, 2024. The Wangchuk Tours and Treks had arranged a wonderful travel plan for us. We could have in-depth visit on the people, culture and landscape of this Himalayan country. The experience was so unique.
I was looking for a quick 5N trip for 2 in Oct 2023. Wangchuk Tours was recommended.Trip planning and other communication were done entirely over email and whatsapp. Responses were very prompt. We went with their standard itinerary including recommended hotels with 1 modification which was easily accommodated. Had a car, driver and a guide with us the entire duration. The guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, including answering most of the random questions we had!The owner/manager Pema & her husband even came down to meet us for drinks which was a nice and a warm touch.Overall a great trip to Bhutan. 5/5 would recommend Wanchuk Tours.

Took a solo trip through Bhutan in June and found Wangchuk on Instagram. Had an amazing experience! Pema, the manager was very patient and charted out a customised package for me. The guide and driver were both very experienced and great company. Seamless experience. Beautiful escape from the real world - definitely recommend!
We did our trip with Wangchuk Tours earlier this year. They are near perfect. Prompt and professional responses during the itinerary forumulation and trip finalization stages. Open to customizing and suggesting hotel options and tour locations. Safe and reliable to transact from a financial perspective.They were proactive in rescheduling our flights when airlines cancelled our originally booked flights.Safe drivers, Knowledgeable guides and comfortable vehicles.Of course, there are a few small areas of improvement for them - For instance end of day everyday their guide could clearly discuss the timelines, plans and activities for next day. Their guides could also pre-order food in restaurants for lunch to minimize waiting times (did sometimes though), etc.,.
